2010 Vintage Trois Pistoles Dark Belgian Strong Ale

Famed Quebeçois Craft Brewery Unibroue created Trois-Pistoles, a remarkably mellow dark Belgian Strong Ale the packs a 9% ABV punch. This 2010 vintage was the last beer brewed by Paul Arnott, the legendary Master Brewer who propelled Unibroue to World Prominence before his return to Chimay. Located on the south bank of the St. Lawrence river in Quebec, the village of Trois Pistoles was founded in 1696 by co-owner Robert La France’s ancestor Jean Rioux. He was granted this first Lordship of the territory by King Louis the 14th of France.  Known as the “Sun King,” Louis the Great is still the longest reigning European Monarch in history. Today, Trois Pistoles is still governed by the Rioux family.  More importantly, this incredibly complex beer is one of the last known barrels world-wide, and is available for a limited time at Arts and Crafts Beer Parlor. So stop by and Just enjoy some family history while supplies last.
